Generally, the use of private server does not require an account, unless you like chat with others on the forums. Since many users create an account and then only use them one or two times, we have decided to "tighten" the registration process. On each registration a confirmation link sent via email has to be clicked. This has many advantages for us, among other things, there will be fewer dead accounts and email addresses must be correct. This means that if you lose your password, you can recover it. In addition, our server is no longer as spam Catapult if addresses are not reachable.

In addition, we have erased all inactive accounts for more than 6 months.

About half of the deleted accounts have received an email. On the other half we have disabled the e-mail, because it simply took too long.

If these measures do not help, we have further increases in the registration process to offer, eg Activation of accounts by administrators or application by invitation only.

We reworked the user profiles tonight. The can handly more informations and look much better now. An example can be found here. Some strings are not translated yet, but they will follow in the next days.

An addition we created an Event-Calendar. There registered users can add events. E.g. LAN-Parties, tournaments or trade fairs.

With this, we continue our course to a real community.

We reworked the script that handled our trailers, so unexperienced users can upload trailers now too. That made it necessary to split the old trailers from the new ones. The paths have changed as followed:
